This definition made me stop.
Because it is me.
Accept more.
I have no way to keep compassion in check. I fundamentally do not know how to reign in this emotion.
So it rips at my heart.
Sometimes it is a gift.
Other times a heavy burden to carry.
Feeling deeply for others.
Some days I pray God takes that blessing away.
