Thanks for stopping by. We are the Rambo Family. Every time I read that I keep hearing the "Adam's Family" theme song in my head. For anyone new to us or this blog I thought it might be nice to give you a bit of an introduction. On the surface we appear rather normal and that is what we would like everyone to think too. If you look closely though you will see a family which isn't perfect but we've learned to laugh through the hard times and been sustained by the Grace, Faith and Hope of an amazing Lord.
John Rambo- JR is the head hauncho around these parts. A pretty big deal, or so he says. The only other handle that would have served him better might have been "Gunnie". A military enthusiast and love of sport like hunting and fishing make him to be quite the outdoorsman. He is a mans man. He is our man. Practical and tactical would be a good theme for his life.
Jumping Junipers "JJ" - Our firstborn is a delight. JJ came into the world with the words "John Rambo is my father" stamped on her forehead. There was no mistaking the resemblance, though JR would say she is much cuter and I agree. Talkative, personable and gregarious would be three words to describe her. She was a mover and a shaker from the get-go. JJ is commonly found getting into precarious situations and hiding in closets. I've often referred to her as those bad guys on "Cops" who throw things out the window while the cops are chasing them so they can claim innocence when caught.
Tiny Bear - Affectionately known as our cute bashful baby, Tiny Bear is growing by leaps and bounds. She earned her baby handle when as a babe she would growl like a bear. Currently she is learning to talk and loves chattering on the phone with whoever will put up with her nonesense words the longest. Usually its Grandma. Every time I look at her I think, Tiny, you aren't so small anymore. Maybe it is time for a new tag? Nah, she is still far too cute.
Mrs. Rambo - That's me, a country farm girl that never thought she'd be married to a cop. I like to think of myself as the CEO around this joint but I know that would be sorrowfully wrong. I am a work-at-home mom with a successful home business. I love my life as a police officer's wife. I've always had a weakness for uniforms and was pretty tickled pink when John Rambo walked into my life, or rather emailed into it. That's a story for another time. I'm not new to the blogging scene but this blog is new to me. I love to write and I've even got a book on the backburner, but who doesn't. Maybe someday when my brain comes back to me I'll be able to sound intelligent again. I seem to have lost it after having Tiny Bear. Two babies 15 1/2 months apart will do that to a woman.
