The Cowboy is 5 weeks old today.
Time is flying by.
JR is fortunate enough to work for an outfit that let's him take parental leave and tops up the government EI benefit to 93% of his salary.
He can take up to 9 months off in the child's first year of life.
This time around he elected to take 5 months off.
I'm typing this little ditty out on my iPhone while I rock The Cowboy and periodically pat his little swaddled back.
I absolutely love being a mom.
